Never one to be happy with just buying a new Laptop Computer, Smartphone, Disk Drives, Docking Station TOY , I always take it as a challenge to see all that it will do.

Introduction

I purchased an ASUS Laptop and two months later I now have managed to get it working the way I wanted. There have been many hurdles and customer support was of no support.

I had wanted a A platform into which you can install a portable computer. The docking station contains connectors for peripheral devices, such as printers and monitors. Once plugged into the docking station, the portable computer becomes a desktop model computer. When it is taken out, it becomes a portable computer again docking station to easily use all of the electronic equipment connected by cable to the computer; "disk drives and printers are important peripherals" peripherals I had acquired over the years. Having to plug all of the devices in each time I returned home with the laptop from my day out was too much. I purchased a Plugable USB 2.0 Docking Station. There was a bit of a learning curve but as you will see described it is working well and as I had hoped. Best, it is $89 and most traditional docking stations are in the $250 category.

TIP:Always, always double check your cables to make very sure they are plugged in securely. If your keyboard begins missing characters as you type that is an indication something is not connected properly.
